Assignment: If you could zoom through space in the speed of light, what place would you go to right now?
If I could go somewhere right now, I would want to land in the middle of a huge forest, near a water body. I would like to be sitting right beside the water. I can hear the sound of the water flowing. I am in the middle of huge trees. I cannot see any way out at all. The paths disappear if I try to follow them with my eyes. The sun is trying to reach me through all the trees. I catch a glance of it once in a while. I am having a lot of fun playing with it. Sorta like playing hide and seek. It makes me smile. To be able to be found by the sun. Knowing that the sun will always find me no matter how much I try to hide keeps me at peace.
I am not alone. I never was. I sit near the water for a bit longer, observing the new habitat I am now in. Everything’s a mess. Leaves and twigs everywhere. Water taking some things with it. I touch the water. It’s surprisingly not that cold. I wash my face and head out. I start walking through the forest, in between the trees. It’s neither cold nor warm. The air is light. Very very light. Just passing me by, lightly touching my cheek n shoulders and saying hi. I close my eyes and breathe deeply. To take it all in.
I have no direction, no money, no clothes, no belongings. My hands are finally empty. My shoulders are feeling absolutely no weight. My mind is empty. The lightness of the air has taken everything away. I have no idea where I am going. I am just walking endlessly. I stop to look at flowers and say hello. I can hear the birds chirping and other animals making all kinds of noises. They seem to be distant noises. I do not care. I am singing with the birds, imitating their noises and smiling endlessly. Even in this place of absolute silence, I find myself too cute. I have picked up a stick and making my way through. I do not know where I’ll end up but I am happy to be walking. This is it. A lil’ wish of the heart of mine.
